Joshua Thomas is Co-Founder and CTO of CogniSwitch, where he leads the neuro-symbolic architecture behind the platform's reliability and auditability. He brings over a decade of specialized AI and computational linguistics expertise to the company's verification layer.

Before CogniSwitch, Joshua served as Product Lead at Aikon, where he developed a practical, ground-level understanding of how AI systems behave in production. That background shapes his work today: building the knowledge infrastructure that lets enterprises trust, and prove, what their AI agents do.

Joshua authored CogniSwitch's CQI benchmark and the Trust but Verify HotpotQA evaluation research, work that grounds the company's conviction that verification must be deterministic and auditable rather than a probabilistic second opinion from another model.
